Tens of thousands of people challenge themselves every year to complete the fastest growing distance race in the country – the half marathon. This terrific 13.1 mile distance is challenging and yet achievable. Our program targets runners and run/walkers. We have an exceptional coaching staff to lead you in your training. Pace groups, speed work, and specific training plans will enable anyone who can currently run/walk 5 miles to finish their first half marathon or improve over previous performances.
The Spring Half Marathon Training Program is designed to help those who can already run a 5K with little or no walking. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line of your first half marathon race in 12 weeks! It can also help existing half marathon runners meet new performance goals. Along the way we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs, free cross training options and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you!
